Raising the music bar within the bars. Three Miles South is primarily a Country/Southern Rock Cover band also developing their own original music. The North East Tennessee based Band distinguishes themself with twangy country roots mixed with a gritty rock sound. 

The Re-Branding for this group may be fresh and new for 2024 but the experience on stage goes way back. All the way back to 70s for bassist Randy Jones (of Greenville Tn.) who came from a family of musicians and began playing when he was just the age of 12. Drummer David Whitten (of Church Hill Tn.) also brings years of experience to the stage. His high energy, heavy metal style drumming finds its way out every now and then even on a country song. 
Rhythm guitarist Trevor Ramsey (of Nickelsville Va.) and Lead Vocalist and Lead Guitarist Dustin Nave (of Nickelsville Va.) also both come from a musical family. Dustin set his sights to guitar playing and singing around his junior year in high school. Growing up “3 miles south” of his childhood friend Trevor, the 2 of them began playing guitar together and building their chord vocabulary. They quickly formed their first band. After some time apart the 2 found themselves back on stage together in 2023.
